When it comes to moving into your Full Rack in our Data Centre, we'll be on hand to help you get settled in and up and running as fast and as smooth as possible. Also included is remote hands for up to 15 minutes a day, during office hours, meaning we can fix issues for you without you having to be here – particularly useful if you’re a bit of a trek away. Remote hands support is also available for out of office hours, however, is chargeable at £60 an hour.
Office hours are Monday – Friday between 8 am – 6 pm.

How much is full rack colocation in the UK?
Our full rack colocation is £990 a month and includes 45U of full-length rack space in a lockable cabinet, a block of 32 IPv4 addresses, two 1 Gbit/s network ports, 1 Gbit/s of unlimited internet, 6 Amps of inclusive power, A/B feeds from separate UPS units, a fully managed firewall and a site-to-site VPN. Extra power is metered at £0.40 per kWh. No setup fees.
Where is the full rack data centre?
Our Sheffield ISO 27001 data centre. It has N+1 cooling, hot and cold aisle containment, A/B power from separate UPS feeds with backup generators on automatic failover, 24/7 environmental monitoring, two-factor access control, full CCTV and smoke, fire and intruder alarms. Fibre uplinks run to London Telehouse North and Lumen in Manchester, and we peer over BGP across multiple Tier 1 carriers.
How many servers fit in a 45U full rack?
A 45U full rack typically holds 20 or more servers, plus storage arrays, switches, out-of-band management, a UPS and dedicated network gear. There's headroom for a full hardware refresh cycle. If you're running dense compute or large storage, get in touch and we'll size the power and cooling with you.
What's the difference between a half rack and a full rack?
A half rack is 21U in a shared cabinet, a full rack is 45U in a private, lockable cabinet with only your kit inside. Full racks include twice the IPv4 block (32 vs 16), 1 Gbit/s of included bandwidth (compared to 400 Mbit/s on the half), and are required when compliance or audit policy needs physical isolation from other tenants. The full rack costs about £345 more per month.
Can I get a private cabinet for ISO 27001 or PCI compliance?
Yes. The full rack is a private, lockable cabinet with only your hardware inside. You control the access list. The data centre itself is ISO 27001 certified covering physical security, power, cooling and access management, and we can provide our certificate plus access logs for your auditor. We work with customers who need to evidence physical isolation as part of their own compliance scope.
Do I get my own IPv4 range and can you handle BGP for me?
You get a block of 32 IPv4 addresses out of the box, which is enough for most full rack deployments. If you need more, we'll justify a larger block to RIPE on your behalf. We're a RIPE member with our own IP ranges and BGP peering across multiple Tier 1 carriers, so if you want to bring your own AS or announce your own prefixes, we can support that.
Do you offer managed backup and virtual servers alongside full rack colocation?
Yes. Plenty of full rack customers add our managed backup services for Veeam-based backup of their colocated kit to a second UK site, plus one or more virtual servers for workloads that don't need dedicated hardware (web tier, dev/staging, internal tools). Same network, same data centre, same support team.
